BioHi, I'm Annie. I'm a theater student with an acting concentration. My faves are Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams. (Shakespeare especially, since he's my first cousin 10 times removed - no foolin'!) I don't really know what I want to do once I graduate... I really want to get some acting jobs, and/or go to gradschool for an MFA in acting. Or I might go to gradschool to get a degree in Library Science. I've always loved books, and if the acting thing doesn't work out, that might be where I'll go. On the other hand, who knows if I'll have the money! This is a scary subject; let's move on to something else.
I love to write, but I can only really do that when I'm in the right state of mind. I suck at poetry and stuff, so I mostly stick to fiction or fanfiction. I've been working on a children's fantasy novel for the past three years, and despite repeatedly telling myself I'll get around to it again, I think I'll have to abandon it and do something else instead.
I wish to hell I was a good artist, because I also like to draw when I'm in the mood. Unfortunately, I suck. I do like photography, though, and like to fiddle around with my digital camera and its 1 GB of memory! (Wheee!)
I've been a vegetarian all my life, so I don't even have to think about it. I do it partly for the animals and partly because it's just habit. I'm an animal lover and have lots of pets, including four cats, three dogs, two chickens and a sheep. I used to work at an Andalusian breeding facility, but I'm now at Victoria's Secret. I'm also the assistant instructor for a kids' theatre program in the summer.
I love most music, but unfortunately there are some types that I just can't listen to. I like more *vintage* music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, or more modern music that's not really mainstream. I don't really like most of what's on MTV, for example. If MTV could go back to the way it was twenty years ago, when they were focused primarily on the MUSIC, I'd probably watch TV a whole lot more. I like British Invasion rock, Experimental rock, Glam Rock (like Bowie), Prog Rock, Emo, New Wave (New Romantic, Synth-pop), Indie Rock, some New Age, Baroque Classical, and various Opera. I don't USUALLY care for hip hop, rap, jazz, or country music. The exception to this is Johnny Cash, who pretty much rocks.
My favorite food of all time is my mom's pesto. I love it on anything, spaghetti, crackers, sandwiches, pizza... mmmmm.... I also love chocolate and Tater Tots, though not necessarily together. And most forms of potato. And most fruit...
I'm an Aquarius, which means that along with being daydreamy, I'm also kind of naive and really clumsy.
My favorite things of all time (not counting friends and family) are Homestar Runner, Pirates of the
Caribbean, Jane Austen, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Superman, Dustin Hoffman, Christian Bale, Ewan McGregor, Johnny Depp, and Monty Python.
